Intro to Silversmithing: Pendant Making

Create your own sterling silver pendant while learning the foundations of traditional silversmithing.

In this hands-on beginner workshop, you will work with real sterling silver and professional jewelry tools to create a pendant from scratch.

No previous experience is needed. I will guide you step by step through the entire process.

You will learn how to:

• work with sterling silver

• saw and shape your pendant

• texture and personalize the metal

• solder and assemble your piece

• file, sand and polish your pendant

• use professional jewelry tools safely

You can keep your design simple and modern or add texture and personal details to make it your own.

Add a Gemstone

If you would like to create a pendant with a gemstone, a selection of stones will be available to purchase separately at the studio.

I will help you choose a stone that works with your design and guide you through the stone-setting process.
